XL 6009 STEP UP MODULE

Β is a high-efficiency DC-to-DC boost (step-up) converter module based on the XL6009 switching regulator IC, designed to convert a lower DC input voltage into a higher adjustable DC output voltage. It typically supports a wide input voltage range from about 3 V to 32 V, allowing it to boost power from low-voltage sources such as Li-ion batteries, lead-acid batteries, or adapters. The output voltage can be precisely adjusted using the onboard multi-turn potentiometer, usually from around 5 V up to approximately 35 V DC, depending on the module version, with the condition that the output voltage must always be higher than the input voltage. The module offers high conversion efficiency of up to about 94%, helping reduce power loss and heat generation. It commonly features an integrated high-power MOSFET capable of handling up to around 4 A peak current and typically 2–3 A continuous current with proper cooling. Operating at a high switching frequency of roughly 400 kHz, the module allows the use of smaller inductors and capacitors, resulting in a compact board size. With clearly labeled input and output terminals, a small footprint, and easy voltage adjustment, the XL6009 Step Up Module is ideal for Arduino projects, robotics, LED drivers, battery-powered systems, automation circuits, and general DIY electronics.
