PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 1/2 inch YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is a Hall-effect based flow measurement device used to measure the flow rate of water in pipelines. It is installed inline with the pipe, where an internal rotor (pinwheel) rotates as water passes through. Each rotation generates electrical pulses using a built-in magnetic Hall-effect sensor, allowing microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi to calculate flow rate and total volume.
